It was good day for me. It was a great front nine. I started off on the back nine good as well but didn’t finish that well. I noticed that I was one-shot off the lead at one point. Unfortunately I didn’t make more birdies there and stumbled coming in.
This golf course is very similar to the course that I played in college in the United States. It suits my game. I feel like I can read the grass here better.
I hit it in the hazard and from there I punched out too far into the rough. Then I hooked it left into the greenside bunker. I flopped my shot and the ball ended up in the bunker again. I hit my next shot and holed it. That was an easy par!
It is good to be playing well in this great tournament. It is a good feeling to be playing well. I’ve been playing well. I played well in Chinese Taipei and that sort of carried over to this week. I’m still using the same swing thoughts and technique.
