Final round pushes men’s golf into third

Sophomores Jamie Lovemark and Rory Hie both shoot 1-over par in the Fall Preview tourney.

… Hie bounced back to finish strong Sunday as he matched Lovemark’s 1-over 217 (75-72-70). Hie struggled at the end of Saturday’s play when he shot 6-over on the final two holes to spoil an otherwise consistent round of golf.

“Rory is a fabulous player,” Zambri said. “I think he’s going to have a huge year. He had a wreck in the second round, but I think he’s going to learn a lot from it.”
